CPC authorship won the “IOP Publishing awards top cited Chinese authors”

IOP Publishing announced a list of winners of “IOP Publishing awards top cited Chinese authors” recently. Meng Wang, Gui-Jun Ding and Wei-Min Song as the corresponding author of the papers entitled “The AME2016 atomic mass evaluation (I). Evaluation of input data; and adjustment procedures” , ”The AME2016 atomic mass evaluation (II). Tables, graphs and references”,”Precision measurement of the integrated luminosity of the data taken by BESIII at center-of-mass energies between 3.810 GeV and 4.600 GeV” and “Predicting lepton flavor mixing from Delta(48) and generalized CP symmetries” which have been published with Chinese Physics C won the award respectively.

The award is for corresponding authors from China, for work published across the whole IOP Publishing journal portfolio in the past three years (2015-2017).

The winners are authors of the top one per cent of the most-cited papers in each subject category. Winning review authors are those whose work is in the top 10 most cited reviews published in the last three years.

Antonia Seymour, IOP Publishing’s Publishing Director, said: “Chinese researchers are at the forefront of significant scientific breakthroughs. It’s important for us to highlight the impact their work has across the global scientific community.”

The 151 winning authors’ work covers Physics; Materials, Biosciences, Astronomy and Astrophysics, Environmental Sciences, and Mathematical Sciences. Between them, they received 4,672 citations from 2015 to 2017.

The top 10 review authors, meanwhile, received a total of 792 citations for their review papers.

Winning authors attending the Chinese Physical Society’s Fall Meeting, in Dalian in September, will be able to receive their certificates from Antonia Seymour at the meeting

Internationally, it is published in partnership with IOP Publishing. Since publication of its first issue in 1977, it has been one of China’s leading journals in high energy and nuclear physics, and continues to grow in international impact and recognition. The 2017 Thomson Reuters JCR Impact Factor is 3.298.
